i was thinking about jerry seinfeld's bit about men working on things:

and so I wrote a blog post about how I feel that working on your own things gives a sense of accomplishment i don't think i'll ever get from my actual job. maybe i'm in the minority, but is anyone else here really love what they do for a living and see themselves staying in their job for many many years?
