OSS vs Cloud - HyperDX Docs
HyperDX offers both an self-hostable open source version available on Github (opens in a new tab) as well as a cloud hosted version available on hyperdx.io (opens in a new tab) that contains a few additional features beyond what's offered in the open source version.
Our cloud hosted version exists so that we can build a sustainable business and continue building HyperDX as an open source platform. We hope to have more comprehensive documentation on how we balance between cloud-only and open source features in the future. In the meantime, we're highly aligned with Gitlab's stewardship model (opens in a new tab).
To make it easy to distinguish between cloud-only and open source features, we'll keep this list up to date with what features are available in each version.
